A week at WV State Conservation Camp will allow you opportunities to explore the natural world and give you the knowledge to answer many of the questions you might have concerning West Virginia’s natural resources.

During a fun week at camp, you will interact with Natural Resource Professionals, explore potential career opportunities, learn new skills and meet lifelong friends from all across West Virginia! A proud tradition since 1941, WV State Conservation Camp continues to introduce young adults to their natural resources and to the wise use and management of those resources.

The 2009 Camp session was very successful and we dodged most of the rain during the week. To help everyone keep in touch with new friends from camp, we have set up a group on facebook. We encourage you to become a fan of the camp so that old and new friends can easily find each other. Also upload your pictures from the week and tag people you know. We will ocasionally screen these photos, so please only post publically appropriate pictures. Please note that these sites are only monitored by camp staff ocassionally.
